Welcome to The British Rail Sports & Social Club (BRNESC)

The social club has been in operation for approx. 50 years and is part of LMRCA the staff association that was part of the now extinct British Railways. It is still often referred to locally as The Railway Club. The club has a long association within the North Liverpool area and close ties and location to Aintree Racecourse.

We are located midway along Melling Road and offer good sports facilities internally and externally with 2 football pitches. 3 snooker tables, and a darts area. We have two function rooms available for hire and can cater for parties of all sizes up to  250 people.

Travel access. The club is approximately a 5 minute walk from Merseyrail Aintree station on the Northern Line service and is well served by the local bus routes.

The club is open every weekday evening  and  all day Saturday & Sunday
